Patricia Apollonia Kotero (born Patricia Apollonia Kotero) is an American performer, actress as well as a former model. Her most famous work is the star of Prince's 1984 Purple Rain film and lead singer of the girl group Apollonia 6 The group was just one of the female artists who benefited from Prince's association during the 1980s. She was the lead female of Prince's Purple Rain in 1984 (at the time he changed her name).
