Jana Kramer bio
Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, singer of country music and songwriter after she appeared in the TV show One Tree Hill. She was Alex during three of the last four seasons. The first three albums she released as a country artist appeared on the episodes of the show, which helped her 2012 eponymous debut album to make it into the Top 20 on the Billboard 200. Her follow-up album from 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. She finished out the decade with appearances on Dancing with the Stars and appearing in a variety of TV shows alongside a series of non-album singles. Released in 2021 was The self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native who was raised on country music. Though she had a recording and acting career, her debut on screen took place in the independent horror movie Dead/Undead (2002) when she was still in high school. guest appearances in shows like All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the following years, until she was cast in the role as Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights in the course of the show's second season from 2007 to 2008. Kramer then appeared on 90210 for the character of Portia Randson from 2008-2009, and as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. She then joined One Tree Hill's cast in the role of Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the character until about midway through the final season of One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer Kramer began her career with One Tree Hill in 2011. Her contract was signed to Elektra Records during this time and released the country-rock song "I I Won't Let You Go" in one episode. It later appeared on her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. The song reached into the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. Her focus was on her musical career following that, and not resigning from acting she was a part of films like Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would be popular with her fan base. Kramer's second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th of 2015. With help from the Top Five country hit I Got the Boy and the duet she did featuring Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it fared even better reaching number 3 on the national album chart as well as number ten in the Billboard 200. Beginning in September 2016 her two-month stay on the 23rd series of Dancing with the Stars ended with her finishing fourth. That same year she had a huge adult contemporary hit song called Straight No Chaser's Feels like Christmas.
