Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette, born 31 January 1937, and died 19 January 2008 was an American film, television, theatre and voice actress. 1 Pleshette started her career in theatre and started appearing in films in the late 1950s and later was featured in films of note such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). From 1972 to 1978 Pleshette was an recurring guest in various TV productions. She also appeared in Emily Hartley, which earned her numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette is the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1 and Eugene Pleshette, was born on the 31st of January 1937 in Brooklyn Heights. The parents of the couple were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was a dancer, artist and choreographer, performing under the stage name of Geraldine Rivers. Her father was stage manager at the Paramount Theater, Manhattan, and the Paramount Theater, Brooklyn.
